Before using your STC I CIP Turkish Coffee Cezve / Ibrik / Pot for the first time:
- Wash with warm soapy water and dry before making a coffee that will be thrown away then rewash the pot and you are ready to begin brewing Turkish Coffee.
General Rules for care and use of your STC I CIP Turkish Coffee Cezve / Ibrik / Pot:
- Wash with warm soapy water and dry after each use taking special care to be sure no grounds stay in the pot.
- With normal use the outer surfaces may become tarnished, use a metal polish to restore the copper to its original luster.
- Under no circumstances should you use polish or any acidic material (lemon juice, vinegar, etc) on the interior plating of your pot. Doing so will nullify the plating warranty.
One-year warranty from the purchase date for STC I CIP cezve / ibrik / pot products.
Warranty covers manufacturing issues (things like thin plating, loose handle, wobbling) but not normal wear and tear.
Only under normal use in accordance with the instructions, if the product fails abnormally, the warranty service is provided.
Any of the following situations will result in product failure or damage, and will not be able to provide warranty services.
1. Product failure (plating damage) caused by using any utensils to stir coffee and water mixture other than wooden spoons.
2. Product failure (plating damage) caused by using polishing compound on the interior of the pot.
3. Product failure (plating damage) caused by usage of anything abrasive (like hard sponges) or pitcher rinser for product cleaning.
4. Product failure (plating damage) caused by leaving the product over the heat source when it is empty of liquid.
